This involves the determination of appropriate values of properties for the Purpose of levying property taxes, tenement rates and other outgoings; Negotiations and effective settlement of all matters arising thereof, from all such Statutory bodies empowered to collect such taxes and rates. Our firm was engaged as consultants to the Port Harcourt City Local Government, Andoni Local Government, Khana and Eleme Local Government Councils on levying and collection of tenement rates and property taxes.
2. SURVEY AND CAPITAL VALUATION OF ASSETS
This is the inspection of various company assets for the purpose of determining their open market capital values for various purposes like Mortgage Transactions, Book of Accounts, Annual Returns and other administrative purposes like insurance etc. Valuation of Company Assets over land, building, motor vehicles, furniture and fittings, fixtures, plant, equipment and machinery. 3. LAND ACQUISITION AND COMPENSATION ASSESSMENTS
This is the enumeration of structures and properties to be affected by compulsory acquisition of land and assessment of adequate compensation payable thereon based on the Land Use Act. Our firm with its participation in the recent right – of – way acquisition by the Nigerian LNG Limited for its Gas Transmission System is technically equipped to handle like schemes for clients who may have to deal with communities and land owners in areas of operations. 3. ENUMERATION, SURVEY AND VALUATION OF PROPERTIES TO BE AFFECTED BY THE ROAD DUALISATION PROJECT ON RUMUOLA – RUMUOKWUTA, OLD ABA (FIRST BANK – RUMUOMASI – ARTILLARY), SLAUGHTER – RUMUOBIAKANI ROAD.
We are currently working as Consultants to the Port Harcourt City Local Government in the assessment of properties for Tenement rating in the Port Harcourt Township (Zone 10) and Elekahia/Nkpogu Village (Zone 1).
