The first version of SiteBoss appeared in the October of 2008 for Nestoil Plc.

For improved content security and website SEO friendliness, and an approach to not reinvent the wheel, we began planning the porting of siteBoss into MODx, a light-weight OpenSource CMF (Content Management Framework) in August, 2011. This is to be completed by January, 2013.

Since release in 2008, the largest implementation of 12 modules (i.e. functions or features) was developed for SPDC's SBTshow.
